Alex Buday

Why INI? INI did not begin as a platform. I simply needed a place for the kind of writing that does not have to prove its worth in three sentences, does not always feel obliged to make a point, and sometimes cannot quite decide whether it is an essay, a satire, or a story. That is how the idea of "Illusions Not Included" began. Not because I believe we can live without illusions. Probably we cannot. I have simply always been interested in what happens when we look at them a little more closely. For a long time, this was mainly a home for my own writing. But gradually I began to feel that it would be a pity if only one voice were heard here. So I would like INI to grow into a literary space in its own right: for different writers, different perspectives, essays, satire, stories and Notes. I do not want to build a movement. Rather, a place where people can sit down, write, read, doubt. And sometimes look at the world a little more closely. Alex Buday writer and founder of INI
