The Bull, the Bear, and the Human Nervous System…

The Bull, the Bear, and the Human Nervous System…
Introduction

The bull became optimism. The bear became fear. Neither animal ever asked for the job. A satire about the human habit of giving our greed, panic and financial nerves another species’ name — and then calling ourselves the rational ones.

Nature managed perfectly well without bull markets and bear markets.

Then humans arrived, gave optimism horns, fear fur, and turned two indifferent animals into symbols of our own financial nerves. A satire about greed, panic, confidence — and our remarkable talent for blaming the mirror.
